Wish I knew more about this (seemingly) sole release from JImmy Gandy. In fact, I wish I knew ANYTHING about it!
The record sounds like it could easily have been cut in Chicago, but the lack of production credits make this a rather mysterious piece in the late 60's "kid soul" puzzle.

Hey Derek, YEP I think u are coreect this probably a Chicago record. There is an unreleased version of this track by The Lovelites (from Chicago) recorded in the early 70's.

Went to junior high with him, sat with him in class at time the record hit; he disappeared after that school year and I thought he would make it big because of a genuinely fine vocal talent displayed of course in talent programs at school. You know it--when the record hit the otherwise low profile began to get much p-----

I knew him Personally, Him and his brother Alex allways came over to my house to eat toast every school day! I went to Emerson high in Gary, Indiana, After I Joined the military, I never heard of him since, It good to here him sing this song before it was recorded,I wish I could find him and his brother Alex.
