I can't find ANY info about this group or this record. Seems too good to be a one off. Any info would be greatly appreciated. It's a hot one!

    cool song...

    there are several singles by a group/or groups called the Empires...none of the other singles i can find mention Frank Greer..

    there are two singles on the Candi label...

    #1026, Love You So Bad/Come Home Girl..and
    #1033, You're on Top Girl/? ...i only know this single from a clip on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzVIC-wmmQE

    i also see mention of another single by a group called the Empires on the DCP label, #1116 Have Mercy/Love Is Strange, which as far as i know i've never heard...

    Frank Greer is a mystery to me..i've no idea if the same group made any of these records..
