From Chicago's southside The Cheers were made up of brothers and cousins from the Norfleet family. They recorded variously as Little Ben & The Cheers, made gospel records as the Norfleets and, after Ben was drafted, simply The Cheers.
This is one of those sublime late period Chicago soul records with gorgeous, soaring harmonies. Absolutely incredible.
