The great Hubert Sumlin on main guitar if not mistaken. His great riffin' duly or unduly 'appropriated' by that Led Zeppelin boy to good advantage.

Wanted to play this at last New Year's Party, but couldn't find my copy! Great track. BTW: today 19 years ago Willie Dixed passed away. RIP.

What a great song provided here by the mighty Howlin' Wolf, keeping the raw power of his earlier tunes mixed with sweet soul sound.
Your selection is always the best.

By the way, I started a radio show in Grenoble, France (the show is in my broken english) and create a blog with the podcast et al. I want to thank you for all the great music shared on this particular blog which inspired and motivated me to do my own radio show.

If you got times, don't hesitate to take a look at it and feel free to post a comment or spread the word, I'd glad and thankful.

Great post!

Hubert Sumlin played in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago (Jan 28th) as part of a Robert Johnson tribute. Apparently he came out wheeling an oxygen tank but then proceeded to rock out like a teenager.
