THE RAINBOWS - KEY TO MY HEART

from what i understand the other side of the record, Good Thing Goin, may have more of a group sound to it? [i've never heard it]...but i'm a little mystified as to why the few references i can find to this song imply that it's a group....as in more than two people...

the mix muddys everything, but it sure sounds like a straight up duet to me...doesnt it?..Eddie Bo and a mystery girl?..

i'm probably just splitting hairs...but still, it's a good enough reason to spend all day doing a little research while listening to records....see if i can find a similar sounding female vocalist.....which is my idea of great fun...

at worst i might have to wander over to Magazine St. and poke around at Jim Russell's...i need to see if they can help me find an obscure record by Paul Gayten anyway...

it's a tough life..but someones got to live it..

any chance of hearing the other side?..[hint hint]..
