What a voice!
Frank Dell was born in North Carolina, where he began his singing career performing throughout the south east. Eventually his group (The Essence) made it to New York City where they performed at the Apollo amateur night. Allegedly, the group was on to the fourth and final round when Frank had to return south to get back to college. By the time of this record, Frank did find his way back to New York, where he still resides and continues to perform.
