Vivian Copeland released a few singles, but this single (which was a minor hit in some regions) is the only one that this writer has heard. She didn't have the strongest voice (even though her performance here is very charming), but the material and production here is top notch, thanks to New York based producer George Kerr.

I very much want a copy of this record, because this is the only label that mentions my home town of Spring Valley.
I didn't know Ms. Copeland. There weren't too many people of color in Spring Valley at the time, so I MAY have seen her and not known that I did.
Spring Valley, in Rockland County, is about 40 miles north of New York City and the most notable musician born there, to date is DJ Dangermouse of Gnarls Barkley fame.
The only other record that I know of that mentions this area specifically is "Swinging Group" by the Chapins, which is Harry and his brothers. That single and accompanying album are named after the county, Rock-Land Records.
Laurie Records, for a time, had their corporate offices in neighboring Monsey, NY, right down the street from my Elementary school.
